For the second year running we are back out on the show circuit.
On the 17th of May we hosted a farm tour organised by the National Beef Association with over 280 people attending, with topics ranging from an integrated beef supply chain, fully assured, transparent, cost effective feed production to animal welfare and environmental issues. In the evening we were invited to the NBA’s annual dinner that John Bell was asked to chair. On the 18th we were at the NBA’s annual Beef Expo with excellent feedback from our farm tour the day before and a large amount of interest in our range of feeds and contract feeding. The last seminar of the day was given by John Bell who spoke on integrated beef supply and the beef industry’s future. He was joined by Matt Nightingale (CEO of Meadow Quality) and Dr. Aimee Hafla (beef nutritionist for Agri-King).
On the 10th of June we returned to Kenilworth agricultural show, BBQ, burgers and beers in tow. Yet again we had excellent feedback from current customers and also a large amount of inquiries from farmers interested in our range of products.
The next show we will be attending is the Ashby Show in Leicestershire on the 9th of July. With attractions ranging from Vintage tractors to cattle parades it is looking like it will be a good day out for all.
Later in the year we are hosting a young farmers farm tour and brief presentation on our perspective on the beef industry and future pressures and opportunities.
The other shows we are attending this year will be;
- Blakesley show – 5th of August
- Buckinghamshire show- 31st August
- Moreton show – 2nd September
If your interesting in feeding cattle we are interested in talking to you.
